Back in 1997, Qual-PEX was the first PEX pipe ever to be
approved with the BS 7291 kitemark and now the Qual-PLUMB
pushfit system is also approved to the highest
classification (Class C) with that standard.
Qual-PEX barrier pipe is also approved by the British Board
of Agrément (BBA) -
Qual-PEX is also approved by WRAS (formerly WRC) for
drinking water applications -
British Gas have accepted Qual-PEX pipe systems for use on
the water side of open vented and sealed central heating
systems but Qual-PEX must never be used on gas. |

The Qual-PLUMB pushfit system
is guaranteed against any material or manufacturing defect
for a period of 25 years under normal service conditions.
This applies on all types of mains fed and pressurised
plumbing systems and both open-vented and sealed heating
systems subject to operating limits specified in BS 7291 |

The Qual-PLUMB pushfit system will also withstand short term
overloads of 114ºC, as specified in BS 7291 Class S. For all
